How do you feel about the Flesch Reading Ease score for Yoast?

I like some aspects. I love that it checks the paragraph length and will catch things like when I miss some obvious things like repeat sentences. In my opinion it was a great tool when I first started. After running a couple articles through it though….

There are some articles that are not going to score perfectly. In some cases that's fine and the article just might not fit their model. I would say it can be helpful, but use your best judgement. Don't tear up your article trying to force it to fit.

I'll be honest I got caught up in making the light turn green. When I was done though, I didn't like the result.

And remember not everyone even uses yoast, and they are succeeding without it.
